Killzine: Graphic

I had a lot of fun making this graphic. First I drew the image in my sketchbook with a Micron pen. Then I scanned it and did the rest with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Years ago I used to do a lot more of this type of stuff. Maybe I should get back into it?

Survived (Definition):

  1. Continue to live or exist, esp. in spite of danger or hardship.
  2. Continue to live or exist in spite of (an accident or ordeal).

Remember those “I survived” shirts you could buy after riding a roller coaster at a theme park? Every time I go into a thrift store I hunt for one.

Missing Her: 4 Illustrations

4×6. Mixed Media. Glass Frame.

I was going to write a few sentences describing these drawings, but I think I’ll just let them be. Life is difficult, and I imagine that many people can relate to the emotions being represented here…

Untitled Painting

12×12 Acrylic on Canvas

Detail on grave and flowers

Why hello…

I got the idea for this painting from a series of events that occurred during a camping trip I went on over the summer. Two awesome people, lovely woods, a hidden graveyard, and a night-time bear encounter are the main elements here.
